A big thank you to all the parents who attended our Forest school session, you all did an amazing job and the children had so much fun. First ,we learned about the life cycle of the frog, we saw all the different stages in the 'tuff tray' and then we listened to stories about frogs, we had fun playing with the tadpoles and frogs.

At Forest school we took part in wood whittling, using willow and potato peelers we made 'stick men'. This activity helps develop manipulative and hand eye coordination skills. At the mud kitchen we followed recipe cards and made mud milkshakes, mud daisy pie and leaf sandwiches. We also made windy day streamers and discovered how the wind makes things move. What a fun morning we had!

We had fun building dens and bird watching. Building nests was fun we used feathers, wool, twigs and moss. We learned lots of skills, role playing, working as a team and most of all having fun?
