Caoimhe from NIFSA came to our nursery to do a forest school lesson. We made large square frames from bamboo and then foraged for leaves, berries, sticks and stones. Working in small groups we used these natural resources to make nature pictures. Caoimhe showed us how to light a camp fire and talked about the dangers of fire. We all toasted marshmallows and then made smores. They tasted delicious.
