GRTL - Getting Ready To Learn
The Getting Ready to Learn project seeks to support pre-school education providers with DE-funded places to encourage and develop parental involvement in children's early learning. It is focused on improving outcomes for children in pre-school by engaging and empowering parents to help them create and sustain positive home learning environments.

At Trench Road Nursery School we offer the following services to all parents and children during the school year:
- A library lending service- Books for children and parents on loan
- Big Bedtime Read pyjama and story telling supper
- School based workshops
- Physical skills resources/Physical skills take home bags
- Developing Language skills library lending service for parents
- Cooking with children
