Mission Statement

  • At Trench Road Nursery School we aim to Create an environment where high quality holistic play experiences are child led to take account of individual needs and interests and provide an excellent foundation for learning.
  • In strong partnership with parents we are committed to providing a safe, happy, caring, secure and stimulating environment for your child. We strive to enable all children to develop their capabilities as successful learners, confident individuals, responsible citizens and effective contributors to society.
  • We believe that every child is unique and we strive to enable every child to be resilient, capable, confident and self-assured.
  • All children learn and develop well in enabling environments, in which their experiences respond to their individual needs and there is a strong partnership between practitioners and parents and carers.

  • We are committed to developing children’s language and communication skills and creating confident, independent and curious learners. We enable children to have a voice, feel heard and know they are valued.

  • We ensure that children have the opportunity to develop their investigative problem solving and decision making skills in a safe and nurturing environment. The staff ensure that activities are carefully planned for and build on previous knowledge. 

  • We recognise that all children are unique and develop at different rates and therefore we aim to work in close partnership with all the stake- holders i.e. parents/carers, other professionals and the community outside agencies.
